from console, after typing in "exit" i am stuck.

anyway to get console CLI back w/o rebooting the host? thanks.

You should be able to get back into the unsupported console by switching to the correct screen with Alt+F1 and typing "unsupported" again and hitting enter, the console doesn't echo this input so you won't know until you've typed it and hit enter.

thanks for the response. yes, that's exactly what i am trying to do. however, after i typed in exit in the cli i am stuck. i would like to unstuck to do other things in the unsupported cli.

I think you press Alt+F11 to get back to the host front screen..... I'll check tonight!! Smiley Wink

To get back to the regular "yellow" screen type ALT + F2

turns out at what it appears to be a hung session after "exit" typing in "unsupported" and enter brings you back to auth prompt.

interesting to note that at alt-f2 you can't do the "unsupported" trick.
