file copy is unexpected slow

Do any one know why it need 20min for copy 20MB (6 files) from Guest vista to a phyiscal server 2003 within LAN enironment.

How to solve it?

Could you try testing copy to a different physical server on the same network segment,

a different physical server on a different Network Segment

and simply to another Virtual machine.

After this, try copying from a different VM to the orignal server.

Just want to confirm that you're using VMware tools and a supported NIC on your ESX host....

a) Try another ethernet cable

b) Switch ports on your HUB/Switch

c) Test similar communication to this and other servers outside of ESX.
