esx3i web access

Hello.

I am not sure, can I manage VM on esx3.5i with web access?!

I don't see "Log in to web access", like on esx3.5 web access. Maybe I need to start some service?!

Another question, is it possible to log in to web access on esx3.5 with domain account?

Thanks

No there is no such as web access "Management" on ESXi.

As there is no WA, there is no possibilty to use domain accounts also. Domain accounts can be used with ESXi if one has vCenter Server for managing ESXi's.

For low-cost vCenter see vSphere Essential Bundle

Thnaks.Ok, there is no web access on ESXi.

But on ESX3.5 there is web access, and I am interesting is it possible to use domain account to log in to web access on ESX3.5? I know about domain access over VC...

Enable AD authentication on ESX:

Thanks Andre. That is the thing I was looking for.

But when I enter: #esxcfg-auth --enablead --addomain=ht.ba -addc=dc1.ht.ba

I get the message: esxcfg-auth: error: no such option: -a

Any idea why?

Sorry, I misses "-".

Thanks again. I will try this.

That command isn't available available in ESXi. If you have vCenter then you can use AD authentication to individual hosts.
