5.1 lets you store your snapshots with the virtual disk that the snapshot is taken of, rather than all in the working directory.

You can take a backup of a VM, either manually or using something like vdr or third party solutions.

ANS : Maximum LUN support per host is 256

2.can i keep the snapshot with vm while creating or keep in another destination.

ANS : Yes there are different way you can take the backup of VM for e.g Snapshot or clonning are one kind of backup as well as you can go for third party backup tools like NetApp backup , Tivoli, Symentric backup, Veeam backup  etc.
