Please try to describe your problem in a little more detail.

If this is about creating a Virtual machine with a hard drive larger than 256GB then you will need to change the default block size on your datastore. That will mean reformatting the datastore. The default block size limits a single vmdk to 256GB.

Can you provide more datails? Are you tring to create a HD(harddisk) in VM or host server?
