VMWare tools crash

All,

I am running a SQL Server on a ESXi 3.5 host.

At 10am each day the vmware tools stop which prevents any network traffic to the machine.

There is no scheduled activity for 10am so I don't know what the cause is.

Does anyone have any ideas what the cause might be or how I can investigate why the tools stop or why it happens at this time.

Thank you for your reply and I'm sorry for not replying much sooner (work has been very busy).

It was 10am exactly and the fix was to patch the host.
