VMWare and Centos

Hi,

Can someone tell me what VM type needs to be created in order to install Centos? Will red hat 32/64-bit do it?

Regards,

Dave

Hello.

Yes, choose the Red Hat option. Consult the Guest Operating System Installation Guide for additional information.

Good Luck!

As written before you can choose a RedHat "template".

The 32 or 64 bit depends on what your need. In most cases 32 bit could be enogh.

CentOS is actually RedHat Enterprise Linux rebuilt from sources, so you should select RedHat, as already said.
