VMWare Converter will not install on win2k sp4 server

Hi All,

Running Dell Poweredge server with Windows 2000 SP4 and cannot get VMWare convertor to install.

The install gets part way through and then rolls back the actions and doesnt give a reason why.

Any help would be appreciated.

Which version are you using?

I suggest to try with 3.0.3.

And remember that you must reboot your system after the installation.

I am using the latest version from the web site available through the download sections.

If this version is not 3.0.3 how can i obtain that?

From the download site you can download also previus version.

I'm sure that v3.0.3 work on Windows 2000 SP4 rollup 1.

I've not testest the new v4.0.1 on this old system, for this reason I suggest to use the old converter.

Thanks for the help so far, i have already been trying 3.0.3 and that is what is failing.

It seems to get almost all the way through and when it says it is creating shortcuts it falls over.
