I uploaded a VM from a backup on a fileserver on to ESXi through VI client. Unfortunately, the machine was corrupt: When I wanted to power it on, I got error cannot due to invalid power state. I then removed the files from storage, however I cannot remove it from inventory.
Is there a way to remove it by hand, through CLI, etc..?
