Upgrade ESXi 3.5 u3 to u4 installed on USB key

I was wondering if someone could point me to some documentation on what I need to do to upgrade a ESXi 3.5 u3 system to u4.

I am running ESXi from a 1Gig USB thumb key and want to make sure of the process.

Anyone?
