Unable to convert Physical to Virtual

I have a Windows 2000 running machine that is a P3 150 MHz only that i am running VM Converter on ... it runs fine until it gets to 97% at which point it fails!

In the log file i noticed a few errors but i believe when it crashes its because of following: "msdos.sys is non-existent or inaccessible" and "FAILED parsing NTFS or Win9x_DOS partition

What type of filesystem are you running (NTFS or FAT) on the physical machine?

it is NTFS

I have to admit, I haven't used Converter much, but a quick grep of the KB articles showed this KB Article that might be of help, perhaps? Or this thread?

Thanks Sanjana, i have been able to follow the steps listed and have my new VM up and running!
