Unable to add new vSwitch/VMkernal in 3i

I am trying to create a new vSwitch so I can add a VMkernel so I can do NFS and iSCSI on this server. When I add the IP and subnet after hitting ok I get this message "SysinfoException: Node (VSI_NODE_net_tcpip_plumb) ; Status(bad0005)= Already exists; Message= Unable to Set",

I get this error when creating a new vSwitch and if I try to add it to the existing vSwitch. I know the IP is free and the info entered is otherwise correct.

Has anyone see anything like this? Its only on 3i that this is happening on.. 3.5 works fine.

The Log message is below.

Result:

(vim.fault.PlatformConfigFault) {

dynamicType = ,

text = "SysinfoException: Node (VSI_NODE_net_tcpip_plumb) ; Status(bad0005)= Already exists; Message= Unable to Set",

msg = ""

You'll need to use a unique subnet for the new vmkernel port wether it be on the same or a new vswitch as the existing "Management Network" vmkernel port.

Thanks. Is this something new with only 3i? 3.5 didn’t have this limitation
