Trouble Installing Win Server 2008 R2

I'm trying to install Windows Server 2008 R2.

I've created the VM and when I boot it gives me the annoying Intel PXE boot screen - does NOT read the .ISO from the disk on the local ESXi host.

CD Drive is "Connected at Power On" on the "Host Device" but it never even tries reading it.

You can either press esc to skip the pxe boot for the 1st time, or else, you may enter to the BIOS setup to set for the boot option. This should work

Hi

I did this a lot of this and never see any issue with this version. You may check this

- Go to the VM Bios and change the boot sequence (CD-Rom first)

- Check you ISO image integrity (is your VM boot on a other ISO?)

I've got the OS installed, up, and running. It just locks up after a few minutes. It's unusable.
