Redhat Linux not recognize added memory

Hello All,

I moved RedHat Linux (RHEL 4.0) from VMware server to VMware ESXi server.

When this server run as a guest on the VMware server he had 3600MB RAM (the max possible on VMware server)

After the successful transfer, I increased the memory size to 6GB.

The problem is that the Linux machine not recognize the added RAM (when I'm running cat /proc/meminfo

he show me only 3600MB RAM)

Any idea?

Thanks,

Nir

You need to use the PAE kernel. Use up2date or yum and install.
