Hi Everyone,
I have installed ESXi update2 server on Dell PE 2950 and installed Redhat Enterprise Linux 5 VM. The installation is successful but I am not able to boot the machine after the successful compeletion of the installation process. I have tried that same on another hardware but still same results.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
Did you install 32 or 64bit RHEL? If 64 - you should set "Operating system" to "RHEL 5 64bit" for VM and enable VT in BIOS for host.

I have installed 32 bit RHEL5 and VT is enabled in the BIOS of the host.
How it looks like? Could you please post some screenshots?

Check your VM boot sequence.

My VM boot sequence is as follows :
1. Harddisk
2. CD-Rom Drive
3. Removeable Devices
4. Network Boot
Can you boot VM from LiveCD?

I am sorry but can you please let me know what do you mean by LiveCD?
LiveCD is a specially created CD to boot from and work. Most linux distros have such CDs/DVDs combined with installation.
You can use Knoppix for example.
