Question about expanding a disk using the vSphere 4 CLI tools

Hello,

I have a virtual machine running on a esxi 3.5 host and the hd is almost full so it must be resized. I have downloaded and installed on my machine the VMware vSphere CLI. For this operation the command to execute on esxi is(at least i believe its correct Smiley Happy)

..\VMware\VMware vSphereCLI\bin>perl vmkfstools.pl --server 192.168.0.108 -X 100g SRVSBSDC01/SRVSBSDC01.vmdk

The questions is: Why using the virtual infrastructure client i'm not able to resize the disk instead using the CLI i can do that?i have to pay a license for vmware to get that functionality on the gui of virtual infrustructure client?
