Power On Guest - "File Not Found"

I'm having issues with what appears to be the SATA storage on one of my ESX servers. If I try to power on the VM, I get a "a file was not found" error after about 40% progress on the task. I've tried restarting the management service, however having had this happen before, the only thing that seems to help is a reboot of the ESX box. I can see/browse the storage, read/write in a console session. It does appear on other servers that the HA is trying to take over the guest.

Here's a copy of my vpxa log - let me know if I can provide anything else.

Could you post the vmware.log located in the VM's folder ?

Thanks.

Looked at that file a second time and noticed that I did in fact have a vmdk file missing.

I'm slightly concerned about where it wandered off to - but it's a test guest for me.
