Performance

All,

When looking at performance within the VIC, I see CPU labels for each host, but under object, there is 0,1,2,3,4,5 etc. The host cpu is labeled, but what do these numbered "objects" represent? (see attached)

The named instances are indeed the server averages in MHz and Percent, representing all of the CPUs to give you a quick summary of the system.

0,1,2,3 etc... is the CPU usage... ie: 2 x quad core procs = 8 cores, so you would see 8 CPU's ... and thus VIC displays the usage of each core (cpu)

So if 2 of the cpu's have the hosts name next to them, what are the other cpu's assigned to? Why is it a number rather than the resource using it??

Thanks for any clarification..

if you look closer - youll see that the ones with the hosts name next to it.... are totals..., add up the others and i bet it will be close to those.
