No fan speed/temperatures with LSI raid card

Hi,

We've just switched from an Adaptec 5805 raid card to an LSI 8888ELP one so that we could see the status of the drives in the client.

I can now see the status of the drives and the raid array which is great however fan speeds & temperatures (and intrusion dectection) have now disappeared from the health status screen on the client. Has anyone had similar problems or maybe know how to get these other stats back?

Did you ever get this resolved? I'm thinking of getting an LSI 8888ELP. How's the performance of the 8888ELP vs the Adaptec 5805?

Any update on this card. I have been looking everywhere to piece together my whitebox and am looking for a raid card that support Health Monitoring that performs well.

WIth an 8888ELP and my X7DBE mb + IPMI card I get health on everything but power supply. See pic. FYI the system has been stable though it is not in production yet.
