New VMware machine replacing old

I am looking to install version 4.0 on a flashdrive. I will be wiping out the existing 3.5 version and reusing the hardware with the exception of a hardrive.. All of my VM machines have been moved to Freenas (NAS).

Anything I should look out for? Do I need to remove the VM machines off the inventory first of the existing ESXi 3.5?

Thanks,

Tnt

NO there will be no need to remove the VMs from the original host - Just builf the new vSphere connect the NAS storage and the VMs to the new host -

Thanks so much. I will give it a try tonight with a test box first Smiley Happy to see how the flashdrive go.
