I'm trying to install ESXi (or ESX) 3.5 on an IBM M3400 M3 with an LSI MegaRAID 9220-8i raid card but running into an issue where I can't get the installation to see any hard drives. I can setup the drives through the raid controller so the bios recognizes them, but when I boot ESXi it says it can't find any hard drives. I've tried loading the drivers on the disc but that doesn't help either.
Is there a way to get 3.5 to see these drives? I know its not "supported" by IBM or VMware but I'd really like to test this upgrade path and this is my only server to do it on.
