Install error on HP Server

I have a old HP LC2000 and I'm trying to install the ESX Server 3i 3.5.0.

I've made all the step in here: http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-10275

and here:

but still doesn't work! My storage is recognized as "ServerWorks OSB4 IDE Controller" and I have a NetRAID-1si RAID5.

When I make "lspci -v" I get the following info:

-Vendor 1166

-DVID 0211

The BIOS is the last one, I already disable the IRQ to fixed ones but no go!

Any help? Any thoughs would be nice!

Have you confirmed that all your hardwrae is on the hardware compatibility list?

This is usually the first AND biggest hurdle.

One day I will virtualise myself . . .

When I make "lspci -v" theres none as "Unknow Device"

But I check the storage against the list but I dont check the NIC. Should I?

Check this

If a compent is not on the VMware HCL list then you can only hope to find something in the communites.
