can anyone tell if a IBM xSeries x335 runs esxi 3.5 well on this server and tell me pro and cons of running esxi on it.also could please post some screen shots of esxi on this machine thanks

Hi,

I have no experience with this server myself, but I learned the other week that there's no VT support.

So while you might be able to run ESX 3.5 on it, you won't be able to run 64 bits guests.

i'm not planning to run any 64 bit guest os on just 32 bit. long as it works fine could please tell me

Hello,

I know that this is an old post, but yes, the x335 runs ESX and ESXi 3.5 just fine.

I know because I have one whirring away upstairs doing just that.

HI guys, i got a problem when  i install 3.5 , 4.1, the ibm 335 crash in the middle of the installation.

i try to format the disk in ntfs first , but i have the same problem again.
