I try to install Data Protector 6.1 on ESX server

I am trying to install Data Protector 6.1 on Vmware ESX server. At first i tried to telnet from ESX server to cell manager but I could not. When I tried to open 5555 port for Data protector on ESX server, I got this error message

# esxcfg-firewall openPort 5555,tcp,in,HpDp6

no element found at line 393, column 0, byte 8786 at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/XML/Parser.pm line 185

I dont know how i can fix this problem.

Try something like this instead:

esxcfg-firewall –-openPort 5555,tcp,in,HP-DataProtector

You can also verify the ports with this command:

esxcfg-firewall –q
