Check the hardware configuration (chipsets, Ethernet controller, disk controller, etc.) against the VMware ESXi HCL and against the VMware ESX Whitebox sites and see if anyone has reported these chipsets as working with ESXi. You can probably USB boot ESXi, if nothing else.
