How to check insight manager agent on esxi 3.5

Hello,

I installed several months ago a vmware esxi 3.5 environment, with ESX Server 3i Installable with HP Insight Management providers on hp dl380 g5 hardware to discover vmware products.

My windows virtual machines work fine and I'd like to go dipper in the monitoring tool.

I'd like to use the insight managent agent, but it doesn't display anything on https://esxi_ip_address:2381

So is it possible to check if the agent is well installed and is running?

THere is no INsight Management agent on ESXi as ther eis no service console to install it into. ESXi uses CIM providers instead to monitor the hardware

SIM can use the HP CIM agents if you have installed the HP version of ESXi or added the HP CIM agents to the standard ESXi install. You will need to configure WBEM in SIM to connect to the ESXi hosts. No web interface though. You can use the web interface to ILO on an ESXi host.
