How can I copy contents to ESXi guest?

Hello all,

I have successfully tested VMWare ESXi 3.5 on my test server. Now I want to put it into production environment.

I have already running Ubuntu Linux 8.04 server on a stand alone server. I need help that how can I move my server's contents directly to EXSi guest, so that I can easily switch over my server. ESXi already setup on another machine.

Shall wait for suggestions. Thanks in advance.

You can install a standalone converter and move the guest to the the new server.

Or you install a vcenter server, put both esxi into it, power down the gust, and make storage vmotion to the other server.
