When using VMWare Server, I usually set the following on each of the guests (the vmx file) to prevent disk utilization issues due to their large vm memory size:
MemTrimRate=0
sched.mem.pshare.enable = "FALSE"
mainMem.useNamedFile = "FALSE"
Can I do the same on VMWare ESXi 3.5 guests as well?
All of our guests are located locally (local storage) on the ESXi host.
