Help with ESXi Hardware compatability

Hi All,

Hoping you can help with finding a hardware compatability issue I have with ESXi3.5.

I've gotten hold of an older server that I want to put ESXi on for testing. Its an HP Proliant ML350 G4p with a Xeon 3.20Mhz processor. The processor family is E7520. I've tried looking in the online hardware compatability matrix but I'm having no luck. Could anyone help me and find out if this server would be compatable with ESXi3.5 or even ESXi4? I want to be able to put from a USB stick with this and really get a chance to play with ESXi without messing with my Production Environment.

Thanks for your help.

The processor is not usually the issue with compatability it is other components like network cards and disk controllers - a site to check for equipment not on the HCL is www.vm-help.com.
