HBA Parameter settings - ESXi 3.5, 3i

Apologies if there is already published info on this subject, but I've been unable to find it - searched high and low.

I would like to view and maybe set queue depth parameter settings for HBA cards on my ESXi 3.5 servers.

Running Emulex LP11002 HBA cards.

I find lots of information regarding use of esxcfg-module command for ESX 3.5 command line interface, but there doesn't seem to be a remote equivalent for esx 3i?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Haven't tried this before, but go to the esx console. Check this:

It will show you how to get into the tech support emergency console on esx 3i. See if either escfg-moduel or lputil exists there. Again, not sure if this can be done or not as I haven't had a lot of playtime with 3i with emulex.

In case anyone is interested, I think at last I can answer my own question:

There is a CLI method for ESXi 3.5, but this appears to be unsupported.

I'm told by my Emulex contact that Emulex have delivered a CIM provider for their HBA's to be included in ESXi 3.5 Update 2.

HBAnywhere 4.1 will contain the CIM client functionality, scheduled for release Jan 2009.
