Forcing automatic startup of VMs

I am attemprint go configure VMs for automatic startup. I selected Inventory --> Configuration --> Virtual Machine Startup/Shutdown --> Properties and I see that "Startup" is disable for all my VMs and that the "Edit" button is disabled.

I am logged on as root.

Do I need any specifica authorization to edit startup settings?

Should I perform any additional action?

Regards

Marius

You have to select the VM and the you have to use Move up, so the maschine goes into the group for automatic start

Do you have a vCenter Server?

Or are you connected to the ESX?

Thasnk you for your help.

I can open the "Properties" link and see a list of existing VMs.

On the right side I see 3 buttons, "Move up", "Move Down" and "Edit", that is disabled. I attwempted right clicking on each VM with no success...
