Error connecting to /vmfs/volumes

I receive following error during the VM suspending

"Error connecting to /vmfs/volumes/4a50c5b7-076a12e-6683-002219acc6e /BCP-NHD.vms because the VMX is not started. Do you want to try again?"

Now all VMs are out of control and not accessing from network

Please help on urgent basis...............................

when does this occur? What process is causing this error?

have you made any recent changes to any storage settings and datastore(s)? is that volume on the server itself or another storage device, if so what kind of device is it? has it been disconnected somehow etc etc

I did not change in the storage of host server but thanks for reply because my issue has been resolved after rebooting.
