ESXi on 3.2 GHz Pentium 4 machine wth 8 GB RAM only sees 3.2 GB RAM

I have installed ESXi (latest version) on a 3.2 GHz Pentium 4 machine that is equipped with 8 GB of RAM.

The BIOS shows the memory correctly, ESXi, however, indicates that only 3.2 GB of RAM are available.

3.2 GB sounds like a very odd number to me, and it puzzles me that it is exact the speed of the CPU...

Anyone else seen such behaviour? Or any ideas what I yould do or try?

Dooh, after a BIOS upgrade failed to help, I checked the specs of the mainboard again... Turns out

it only supports 4 GB RAM... How dumb... Sorry for the noise Smiley Wink
