trying to load the software onto a dell precision 670, 64 bit with 2GB ram, but get the error saying:

Unsupported BIOS setting (cpu id is limited) disable limit cpuid value or support legacy /nt4 os in BIOS

We cannot find this setting in the BIOS, any suggestions appreciated

Check to make sure your processor is on the HCL - needs to be 64-bit!

We have run the nocheckCPUIDLimit on version 3.5, and this works allowing us to load the program, however when we try this on version 4 we get the same error message.

Verion 3.5 will allow us to run 32 bit linux, but not 64 bit linux which is what we need.

The BIOS must also support VT in order to run 64bit guests. If it isn't in the BIOS check to see whether there is an updated BIOS. Check the documentation to see whether VT exists.
