ESXi 4 - Autostarting VMs

Hey folks -

I couldn't find an ESXi 4 discussion forum. If there is one here on the VMWare community site, could you point me to it? Smiley Happy

Anyway, I've got ESXi 4 running with 4 VMs configured. I can't seem to get the VMs to auto-start when the hypervisor boots. I have the config bit set to "start and stop VMs with system", but that doesn't appear to do anything. I've included a couple of PNGs from vSphere. Is there another bit I'm missing?

Thanks!

you clicked on edit in the top right hand corner, then highlighted the VM and then the "move up" button?

move the guests in question up to Automatic Startup and see if that helps.

Thanks for the answer. I actually tried that, but the VMs aren't movable. I click on them and try to drag them, but they're anchored down. Grrr.

Well hot damn. I didn't realize "Move Up" would move them into the next section, I figured it was just to move them around within their existing section. Worked like a charm.

Thanks!
