ESXi 3.5 Failed to Boot

So I lost power to my ESXi 3.5 update 4 server and now when I power on the physical host the host can not find ESX and declares no bootable drive found.

Any hints on what I should try to possibly recover all of my VMs (and data) that was stored on my two drives?

I tried Ubuntu 9 but could not figure out how to mount the drives (not sure which file system type to use).

Thank you for any help that can be provided.

I have the same issue:

the network card looks for DHCP IP address and even if when it gets the IP address, it fails to boot by saying:

PXE-E53: No boot filename received
PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM

I read that one solution is to set up DHCP to offer filename, but which filename? please help us!!
