Current;y I have VMware Workstation that I am using to create a virtual lab. I have ESX and ESXi 3.5 installed as virtual machines in the environment. With ESX or ESXi 4.0 will it pass the virtualization enabled option to allow me to create a ESX guest?
Sorry if I have some of the terms mixed up. I'm still learning...
ESX 4 will allow an ESX 4 guest. See here: http://www.vcritical.com/2009/05/vmware-esx-4-can-even-virtualize-itself/

ESX in ESX is not possible.
Is possible ESX guest into Workstation/Server.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for!
Though ESX can virtualize itself, it does not virtualize the hardware virtualization features of the CPU. Hence, you can only run nested 32-bit guests (using binary translation).
