Dell poweredge 4600 - amber light

I'm trying to find out how to stop the amber light from flashing on the front of my PE4600. The light is blue until ESXi starts booting and loads the dell modules.

I am running ESXi 3.5 downloaded from VMware. Everything that I've read said to try to clear the logs with Server Administrator or with the DRAC. I don't have a DRAC and its not a windows box so I don't have server admin installed. The only other thing i've found was someone said to enter the "BMC" and clear the logs but I don't have a CTRL-E option during post that they speak of.

Does anyone know how to clear the logs from the console? Or have any other suggestions I can try?

The error code I am getting is "E0CF5 Log Disable SBE". Again, light is blue until ESXi starts booting then it goes to amber.

That would be a question for the Dell forums and your manual. ESXi doesn't control the lights.

I'm sorry. I thought someone may have ran into this that is running ESXi and knew what the command line options were. So sorry.

If you have installed OpenManage on ESXi you can find the reason for this problem.

Otherwise you have to enter in BIOS to check the logs.
