DL380 G5 with Smart Arrey P600 > StorageWorks MSA60 NOT recognize

Hello everybody.

I

would be glad if somebody could answer my questions.

I have a HP ProLiant DL380 G5 with Smart Array P600 connected to HP StorageWorks MSA60 size: 4 T.B SATA (10x500GB) RAID 5

I tried to install ESXi 4.1 as well as ESXi 4.0 with HP Drivers. but problem is the ESXi is not recognize my StorageWorks made by Smart Arrey P600 during or after installation

since is listed in Hardware Support also is recognized in "sensor" Heal Status - Screen Shots Attached

BTW: I face the same with ESX4

Are you sure that you have build LUNs smaller than 2 TB?

What's the output of fdisk -l command?

DO check out Andre's advise. Mostly like that the LUN is more than 2TB. You will need to make each LUN of 2TB smaller.

support on the SCSI device is only on ESX3, where as the SAS/SATA will support ESX4.
