I have an ESX 3.5 cluster with 11 hosts in it. I have HA and DRS configured. I have configured HA for 1 failover. I have recently moved from 8 hosts to the 11 hosts, yet my failover capacity is still at 0. I have 220 VMs (not all are powered on). As far as reservations go, there is the default reservation pool only. There is 269896Mhz of CPU Unreserved (no machines have a CPU reservation.), and 608589 out of 648491MB of Memory Unreserved (very few machines have memory reservations. I also have my "Allow VMs to be powered on even if they violate availability constraints" checked.
My question is, how can I determine why my Current Failover Capacity is still at 0. By my knowledge it should be higher than 0. Thanks.
