Configuring EXSi networking via commandline

I originally setup my ESXi box on a 192.168.1.xxx network. But moving it into the final location and test network I needed to change the IP to a 172.20.2.xxx network. I thought

I did it right via the gui tools. But, I didn't change the network adapter right. So, now I have an ESXi box with the inability to accept network connections.

I need to reconfigure my ESXi box from the command line. I've been searching a bit for a tutorial or other instructions on how to make the change. But, esxcfg-vmknic doesn't quite

work the way I want. Are there any writeups out there for getting this fixed?

Welcome to the VMware Community forums. At the console of your ESXi host, have you tried to press F2 (customize system) and the choose the Configure Management Network option?
