Beginners Mistake - Lost Resource Pool and VM's

Made a seemingly grave mistake and not sure how to correct it...

Foolishly removed both Virtual Switches in Configuration > Networking while trial and error-ing NIC teaming/load balancing configurations. This, in turn, deleted my ip address from the vsphere client connection. Checked 'Configure Management Network' in the management console and the static IP address was wiped to 0.0.0.0. I had no choice but to restore the default configuration as it wouldn't let me set a static IP and now when I log back into vsphere client my resource pool and VM's are completely gone, but the hard drive space allocated for them is still there.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to the Community,

if the VM's files and folders still exist in the datastore, then try to first re-create the virtual network (vSwitches) and then right click each VM's vmx file and select "Add to inventory". If this works you may recreate your resource pools and other settings.
