Any issues with increasing RAM after a P2V???

I recently P2V'd a legacy server. It is running Windows Server 2003 Standard. It only has 768MB of RAM. This is the amount of physical RAM the legacy box had. I placed the VM on to an ESXi 3.5 host.

Can I just power off the VM and increasing the RAM to whatever I want? The ESXi host itself is a Proliant 380 G5 and has 30GB of RAM. Currently only about 5GB is being used by a couple of other VMs. Thanks!

Yes, you should be able to just power off and increase memory for the server.

running Windows Server 2003 Standard

Windows Server 2003 Standard is limited to 4GB of RAM (32-bit)

32GB of RAM (64-bit)
