3i plugin manager

When I open the plugin manager in VI 2.5, all I see are the 'available' and 'installed' tabs with the 'Ok' button. No plugins listed, no option to check/update or install any. No indication how to manually install plugins or add them to the plugin manager. Is there a document on how to set this up?

Host is 3i on a Dell PowerEdge 2950.

You would need to install some software that includes a plugin. For example, if you install the VMware powershell extension and the instal the latest version of PowerGUI, you'll then see an add-in for PowerGUI on the available tab and you can enable it to have the PowerGUI menu options in the VI client.

Whenever I've gotten hold of a plugin, I find that I usually have to copy it locally on the pc that I am using vi client from in the following directory : C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Plugins. Vi client will then automatically pick it up and all you have to do is enable it in the installed tab (some have an installation program). Try out these 2 .... http://www.juxtapositiontechnologies.com/
