windows 2003 clock issue under vmwmare

win2003 sp2 server under vmware always shows initial clock 4 hours earlier then actual at initial startup. after about 1 minute it

resorts to the actual time. the bios clock is set properly, not sure if this is an OS issue or its because its under vmware.

not sure if this is the right community for this issue.

Welcome to the Forums - Is the system clock on the ESX server set to the right time? I think what is happening when you start the VM it looks at the system clock on the ESX host which is probably 4 hours off - after a minute it synchronizes with ESX server time (If you have this enabled within VMware tools) -
