Hi All,
We have performed the following steps to move VMs from a ESX 3.5 host to a ESX 4.1 host, and now the VMs are running on the 4.1 host without issues.
1. removed the Virtual Machines from inventory using “Remove from Inventory”.
2. moved the vmx file to the new ESX 4.1 host.
However, in the vpxa logs of the ESX 3.5 host, we are still seeing the vmx or other files of removed VMs are being accessed.
Can someone please help to explain and advise if anything we have missed and how to stop these. Thanks.
