vmware licencing

Hello

we have VMWare enterprise edition licences. I've just been sent a quote from our supplier to renew our licence agreement, I was curious if the VMWare licences are valid only for 1 year, or if its only the support aspect of the licence that needs renewing...

It's the support.

You can purchase for 1,2 or 3 years.

Keep in mind, if your support isn't current, you not only can't get support, but you can't get upgrades either.

And you won't have access to the vmware.com site to re-download VMware products and product updates.

I guess also that you bought support for 1 year.

Also the subsciption is limited, but it is normall from 3 to 5 years.
