vmotion requirement

What does it means by the following on Vmotion Requirement?

Error will be genreated if

1. vm is in a cluster?

Hoes it means the VM where the host resides cannot be part of that cluster?

Probably referring to a guest cluster: You cannot vmotion with MSCS as you will be using SCSI bus sharing, RDMs and a separate network VLAN for the MSCS "heartbeat".

If you have a VM that is part of a Microsoft Cluster ( MSCS ) then you can't vmotion it.

in order to run MSCS on an ESX Server the guest OS disks must be local to the host. This means that multiple hosts do not share the storage for that VM , so would not be able to vmotion.
