/vmimages folder

I had renamed my vmimages folder that is located off the / of my esx server. I have renamed the folder back to vmimages however whenever I go to a virtual machine and try to mount on of my .ISO's I click on "Datastore ISO file" and select Browse, I still see storage1 listed and vmimages. however when I click on vmimages I get "A file was not found []" But I can see all the contents of this directory if i connect to the service console. what do I need to do to re establish this link?
