vmfs size limits?

I have a Dell 2950 with 6 146 GB disk drives configured as RAID-5, which gives me ~680 GB usable space. I am using Kickstart to load ESX and the vmfs is the last partition, which I indicate ti grow to max size, however, when cd /vmfs and execute df -h . it is only 123 GB. I was expecting ~670 GB. What am I doing wrong?

df -h wont show you any of your vmfs partitions.

try vdf -h
